ISLAND ASTRONOMY SKY PARK

Our most challenging objective is to secure land on which to construct permanent facilities for the Institute. Concepts for our building  include an observatory, theatre, classrooms, and sales room.  The park would be completed by astronomy gardens featuring an astronomical stone circle, solar system walk, observing areas, and amphitheater. We are working with local architects on conceptual plans for the building and grounds.

We are currently exploring options for land for this purpose. The Institute will consider donations, easements, bargain sales and outright purchase, consistent with its nonprofit mission and funding capabilities.
