This survey from Lookout Point on Schoodic Peninsula documents a nearly pristine sky overhead and to the south. This portion of Acadia National Park is on the Schoodic Byway, which is not on Mount Desert Island. At this distance the regional visibility of the Ellsworth light dome is apparent. | ||
